Kim Larson Designer + Art Director

Kim Larson [Lars Design Co.] is an experienced award-winning, industry-leading editorial art director and designer whose career has been characterized by a combination of versatility and creativity.
She’s the art director of EDIFY magazine. Kim has been the art director of AVENUE (Edmonton), Eighteen Bridges, LEAP (Alberta Cancer Foundation), Alberta Venture, and Alberta Oil magazines which under her direction won numerous high-profile provincial and national magazine awards. Kim has also art directed and managed several creative, award-winning art teams. She has worked on magazine redesigns including HERE (University Hospital Foundation), Glass Buffalo, LEAP magazine (Alberta Cancer Foundation), NATIONAL magazine (The Canadian Bar Association),  Alberta Venture and Alberta Oil magazine. Kim recently rebranded AVENUE magazine into EDIFY.

Kim also designs books for SAVVY BEAUTIFUL BOOKS a boutique creative shop that makes custom books. She works with clients—from aspiring authors to established publishers who are looking to outsource editorial, art direction, design and layout.. savvybeautifulbooks.com
